Brief Answer:
URTI. Routine medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. The thick, yellow mucus, swollen neck gland and sore throat are signs of an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection ( URTI ).

2. An examination by an ENT Specialist followed by routine medication should settle this. A throat / oral swab is recommended.

3. Routine medication should include an antibiotic, anti - allergic, mucolytic, anti - inflammatory medications and steam inhalation besides the medicated oral rinse.

4. Your Parkinsons disease and medication will not affect or be afected by this medication. Take these medicines at a different time of the day to avoid pro less with absorption of the anti - parkinsons medication.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
