What Causes Sore Throat After Neck Trauma?
Question: I was attacked unexpectedly and the guy hit me in the throat. It's been a week now and it still hurts to swallow. No hoarseness in my voice, just sore throat. Should I go to a doctor?

Your analysis is that i have a virus from getting hit?? Can i get a second opinion please!! Could this judt be bruising that will go away? I can breathe fine, and have mo voice issues

For your kind information pharyngitis have no effect on breathe and voice but they may be effected in laryngitis.

Ok, but this is from a blunt trauma. How does bacteria get involved? Im worried i have cracked cartilage in the throat. Could that be possible?
