Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The throat needs to be examined for evidence of tonsillitis and accompanying pharyngitis. Rapid strep test can be performed and throat swab can be taken for culture sensitivity testing. Antibiotics can be prescribed empirically, till then. Ibuprofen, saline gargles, anti histamines and strepsils lozenges can help provide symptomatic relief.

If the throat is normal and no evidence of bacterial infection is found then causes of dysphagia should be evaluated. An upper GI endoscopy can be planned/ considered in consult with your doctor, especially if there is associated anemia or weight loss or blood in stool.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
