What Causes Sore Throat, Low Grade Fever And Fatigue After An Intercourse?
Most likely due to allergic reaction or streptococcal throat infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. The symptoms you are getting can be most likely due to streptococcal throat infection or allergic reaction.
Lal path lab is a good lab and results are accurate. 4th generation tests are very sensitive to find HIV also. I usually advise HIV duo test with combination of 4th generation antigen and antibody test after 28 days from exposure. This will give almost 99% sensitive result.
So if you done 4th generation test after 28 days from exposure you are most likely safe from HIV. You can relax in this case.
The symptoms you are getting can be from streptococcal throat infection and after effects of it. Anti streptolysin O (ASO) will be raised in such case. You can check for ASO titre in blood. Also blood routine examination. This condition can give joint pain, rashes etc. Short course antibiotics , NSAIDs or corticosteroids will help to recover from this. You can consult an internal medicine physician to manage this.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
but sir which test I should undergo for ASO ?
I did the normal fever panel test which came out normal except little raised in WBC I have also fear of other STD do these symptoms look like herpre or sypills. I never had rashes on chest before this and one rash on plam and one on hand between wrist and elbow which look like blood clot these are unusual rashes for me .
WBC can be raised for bacterial infection.

WBC can be raised for bacterial infection like streptococcal sore throat also. Even in syphilis it can be raised. You can go for VDRL blood test to rule out syphilis. Herpes usually doesn't give such generalized presentation.
Urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea will rule out those also. ASO titre is a blood test which test for antibodies against streptococcal infection. You can run ASO test also to rule out possibility of streptococcal infection.
Please upload your routine blood analysis report which shows increased wbc count.
I would suggest antibiotics like Doxycycline for one week to clear any bacterial STDs to be on safe side even if the tests are negative in my patients with such case. Doxycycline will cover syphilis , chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Mostly bacterial infection and after effects. So no need to worry.

Thank you for your follow up query.
You don't need to worry as mostly it can be bacterial infection. You can upload your blood reports in report section or send to YYYY@YYYY mentioning attention Dr .Nishad BN. I still didn't get it. STD panel usually includes Gonorrhea also. If it didn't show you can ask the lab for it.
A streptococcal infection and raised ASO titre can give fatigue , rashes , joint pain and pain in kidney area. Antibiotics , NSAIDs or corticosteroids like I mentioned before will be helpful in such case also.
So you can relax. There won't be anything serious.
Please Update with the blood reports.

Most likely an active herpes simplex virus infection.

Thank you for your follow up.
I have gone through your reports. There is an active herpes simplex infection according to the reports. So the rashes can be most likely from this. You are free from other STDs and HIV.
There is nothing to worry about Herpes virus infection. It is positive in majority of population (more than 50%) in western countries. Most of them not even aware that they have it. It can be treatable. So you can relax.
It is true that herpes won't go completely from your body. It can remain inactive. If your body immunity becomes low it can come out like rashes. You can take anti viral therapy with anti viral drugs like valacyclovir as oral tablets and acyclovir gel for local application on rashes. You can consult your physician or dermatologist for prescription of this. Once you start the anti viral drugs the symptoms will slowly disappear.
Stop thinking negative. This is not a big health issue. Soon you will be all right. So relax.

Now anti viral drug is needed or you as you are getting more rashes. Antiviral drugs will help to decrease the viral load and help your immune system to fight. This is given for 1 to 2 weeks only. You don't need to take it again. It doesn't make you addict to the drug also. Once it is gone you can just forget about it. It doesn't affect your sex life also.

Sir I think it attach to me like thread . how can I live a normal life by knowing that I can infect anyone.
Yes , IgG indicates not a recent infection.

Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up.
IgG indicates not a recent infection. It can be acquired before and reactivated recently. But we can't be sure whether it is Herpes 1 or 2 unless you do a type specific test.
Now you can go on with anti viral drug therapy for 1 to 2 weeks after consulting a dermatologist. After 1 month you can do a type specific IgG test which will help to find out whether it is herpes 1 or 2. Yours could be most likely herpes 1 which is oral herpes. This usually spread by oral contact like kissing. After getting married you can decrease spreading to your partner by taking valacyclovir in doses like 500mg once daily. This will decrease the chance of spread. This you need to take if your partner is negative for herpes. For children there is no risk of spread as there is no oral or saliva contact.
