Question: I've been having pain on the left side of my body for weeks now. It is under my left armpit and the top of my rib cage, deep in my left hip and down into my knee? I'm also getting sore and lumpy throat and feel very tired.

Brief Answer:
Better to get done MRI spine.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having only left sided body discomfort.
So possibility of spinal pathology involving only left side of the cord is high.
You are also having sore throat and tiredness. This favours viral infection more. Certain viruses can damage spinal cord and cause problems.
So better to consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI spine to rule out spinal pathology.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
