Brief Answer:
Test is 99 % accurate sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that a DNA PCR test conducted on the 28th day is 99 % accurate sir and only become more accurate with passing time.

Your symptoms could be unrelated sir, but if you wish you could repeat an ELISA test after a duration of 13 weeks from the date of exposure to confirm the absence of the infection a 100 %. But in my opinion I am sure you are HIV-free sir as the DNA PCR test conducted at 28 days is very accurate and reliable.

I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
In my opinion, no chance at all sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

In my opinion there is no chance at all. But by statistics there is a 0.4 % chance, which is close to negligible sir.

Do not worry, you are perfectly fine. But you are only going for the ELISA for your satisfaction and not because we have a doubt about your HIV status.

I hope my response has helped you sir. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best of luck and god bless.

Brief Answer:
Could consider the possibility of other infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi sir.

Do not worry sir, HIV is close to a 100 % negative. But it is still wise to go about a follow up ELISA at 3 months after the sexual contact to make it a 100 5 confirmation.

But due to the presence of some symptoms, we should consider the possibility of any other infections. Why don't you consult a doctor for an elaborate evaluation sir? This may just be a simple upper respiratory tract infection (throat infection) also.

Please do think about this, and meet a doctor. I am sure all will be fine in no time.

Best of luck.
