Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
Soreness and tingling in legs with background history of chronic alcoholism may be related to alcohol induced neuropathy. However,I would like to know the following details in order to answer this well further-
1)Since when are you having tingling and soreness in legs?
2)Are these complaints of tingling/soreness in legs progressively worsening over time or static in course?
3)What is the frequency of eye twitch? Is it intermittent or persistent?Does it increase on stress or anxiety?Does the face also twitch along with eye or is it the eye muscles alone, which twitch?
4)Do you have any other medical illness like Diabetes,or any other disease?
5)Do you frequently have stress/anxiety?
6)For how many days have you taken prilosec in this course?
Please follow up with details so that I can answer this well.

Keep prilosec on hold/Vitamins and antioxidants supplementation/observation
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
Spine issues 2 years back is not the likely causing these symptoms.
Certain things to stress upon are-
1)Prilosec can on rare occasion, cause neuropathic symptoms.Since you have been on chronic use,I would suggest you to please keep it on hold for now,and observe for improvement.
2)Stop alcohol intake and start taking vitamins and anti-oxidants supplementation, and observe for the change.Chronic alcohol intake can result in such symptoms.
3)Start doing regular mental relaxation exercises like meditation. It should bring down your symptoms.
If your symptoms persist even on following the above measures for 3-4 weeks, then I would like you to get yourself physically examined by a physician.
Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
