How long? A few days.
Difficulty swallowing? Not really.
Swelling or bulge? If so, not much. Had for me to tell. The sensitivity is mostly at the base of the throat and below where you can put your finger between the bones on each side of the "hollow".
Regurgitation, indigestion or burning? No.

Hi
Thanks for the information.
It is probably chondritis only. You should get an ultrasound neck done.
Take a combination of diclofenac plus serratiopeptidase twice daily for 5 days.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at prescription only.
Take steam inhalation.
Drink plenty of water.
Avoid pressing or touching the site.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
