Brief Answer:
Make injury, Appendicitis Ovarian cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

When was the last time you passed stools?

Do you feel nauseous ir have fever?

Have you done any sort of unaccustomed exercise recently?

Are your menstrual cycles regular or have they changed recently?

It is possible that you have injured a muscle in that region of could be suffering from Appendicitis or could be ovarian cyst.

I advise you to apply heat to that region via a cloth dipped in warm water. Take Tablet Paracetamol or Acetaminophen 1000mg twice a day for 5 days after meals.

If you have colicky or intermittent type of gnawing pain your could take Tablet Buscopan 10mg once a day. Tablet Buscopan can cause some blurring if vision which is temporary but avoid driving or doing any difficulty of dangerous work after taking Buscopan.

Watch your bowel habits if you do not pass stools or have diarrhoea. If your condition gets worse like severe abdominal pain, vomiting, you may need to get yourself tested for Appendicitis or ovarian problems like torsion of ovary.

It would be wise to get an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis to rule out Appendicitis and ovarian torsion or the like.

Avoid any unaccustomed activity, lifting weights.

Brief Answer:
Most probably muscle strain due to abnormal posture

Detailed Answer:
It is quite possible you may have strained a muscle in that region. Kindly apply hot packs, take the medication and avoid lifting weights. It would be best to have help to look after your child till you recover in about 10-15 days. If the pain gets worse or gnawing in nature, do get an ultrasound.
