
What Causes Soreness In The Knee After Doing Yoga And Squats?

Question: I started yoga a couple of times and then took a barre class and over did squats and now my knee is very sore by the end of the day. I did this a couple of weeks ago, now just yin yoga a couple of times per week. After a nights sleep it feels pretty good--after being up on my feet for a couple of hours it is telling me I'm here. I'm sore! How can I get my knee back in shape and not hurting me. I am 66 female 5 ft. 6 inch and 230 pounds.
