What Causes Soreness Of Throat And Gravel Feeling Behind Tongue?
Question: hello doctor for the last 3 weeks ikeep getting the feeling that gravel is in just behind
my tonque and throut symtoms come and go the only yhing that helps a little is throut

Hi,
Thank for asking to HCM.
After reading your clinical history it appears that you are having throat infection might be due to tonsilloliths.
If I were your treating Doctor for this case, I would advise you
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily,
Plenty of fluids,
Paracetamol for pain &
Tab Vitamin C twice daily to promote healing.
Continue throat lozenges & antibiotics.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not up to satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.

Hello Dr. I just wanted to tell you I finished taking antibotics 2 weeks ago with
no change,also wanted to ask is there something else besides throut lozenges
that would do same thing I have gone through 350 lozenges in past 3 weeks
makes feel sick to my stomace cant stand the taste anymore.You said in your reply to use antiseptic chlorhexidine is this regular mouth wash,where do you
buy it.Also you said to use paracentanol for pain what is this.Lastly I just wanted
to up date my symtoms I don't feel I completely exsplained .The feeling like
theres gravel sides of back of tonuqe and throut,the feeling of not being able
to completely clear my throut,dry mouth.Iam sorry if I sound like a nut but this

hello dr. I made appointmint to see ENT but until then you said to gargle with mouth wash twice daily,could I also gargle salt water and drink warm water and
