What Causes Sores Around The Urethra Along With Pain During Urination?
Possibly urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi Maknut, I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Soreness around urethra and pain upon urination are most probably due to urinary tract infection. Local application of antibiotic ointment and vagisil cream will give only temporary relief.
I would suggest you to get a urine examination done to look for infection and take oral antibiotics accordingly. Also I would advice you to get your blood sugar levels tested, if not tested earlier, as urinary tract infection is common in diabetics.
In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids as it improves urinary tract infection.

I am still waiting for a response on my request about whether urinary tract infections cause canker like sores around the urethra.
Proper local examination by an OBGYN specialist
Detailed Answer:
Hi Maknut, thanks for responding.
No, urinary tract infection do not cause chancre like sores around urethra, but it causes redness and swelling around it, with itching. If you are having growth or some ulcer like lesion around the urethra, then it can be some malignancy.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible so that a proper examination can be done. Appropriate investigations and treatment should be done, including biopsy of the lesion if needed.
