What Causes Sores On Frenulum After Intercourse In A Circumcised Man?
Question: Hi, I am a circumcised 31 year old male. I had my circumcision when I was 12 years old. Recently I have been having sores on my frenulum after sex or masturbation (skin turns red and becomes very sensitive). I think it is because of the holes (two on one side and two on the other) under my frenulum. There is very thin skin between the holes on the right and left sides. Today I noticed that the holes away from the shaft were not small, more like pockets. There is no discharge coming from the holes.
Will these holes heal? Should I see my doctor? My frenulum is not as sensitive as it used to be. Could it be related to this? Thanks.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts and photographs that you have posted it appears that you have been circumcised in childhood and have noticed two small pockets at the level of frenulum which is getting torned during sex and while masturbating .
There is a band of adhesion that is connected to frenulum and glans penis which gets torn off during dry rough sex and while masturbating .
If you have active sores at the site you need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
It is always advisable to excise the band to avoid it getting injured during sex to resolve the issue permanently .
This is a simple surgery done under local, anesthesia as a out patient procedure and offers permanent solution to have a enjoyable sex .
Consult qualified General surgeon for evaluation and further treatment .
As regards the pockets there are Fosse created during healing of circumcision incision and has no significance at all .Neither they are going to harm you during sex .
