Please tell what do you exactly mean by off-balance?Please observe these points and answer specifically-
1)If you walk on a straight line-do you tend to fall on either side?
2)Can you stand straight after closing the eyes?
3)Are you having giddiness?
4)What do you mean by 'things peripherally'?
Pathological off balance be due to cerebellum,sensory or vestibular involvement.
However, off balance is somewhat subjective and people use it differently.So, it may just be normal and physiological.
How did this start-acutely or suddenly?Is it worsening or static for past 5 days?
I shall be glad to have you in follow-up with further details.
