What Causes Spots In Groin Area When Diagnosed With Bacterial UTI?

I have a question regarding spots on my groin area.
My doctor prescribed anitbiotics as he feels I have a bacterial UTI because I also have to urinate often.
I had spots since 1 month ago. Now most have gone but I still have the remainder of 2 spots. I am wondering if these can be bacterial if they last so long? They do not seem to be disappearing. I am worried if they can be herpes or warts but 2 doctors I visited do not believe so.
I have attached of what they looked like one month ago and what they look like now.
Thank you
just to clarify, the 1st pic is from the original spots one month ago and the other 2 pics are today. The spots remaining still feel 'active', but are smaller and darker in color. I do not believe that the bacterial or fungal creams or antibiotics have killed them.
Could this be a misdiagnosis or something more serious?
Thank you.
Most probable diagnosis- folliculitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM..
I read history and gone through photographs you sent.
It looks like you have Folliculitis. It is a bacterial infection of hair follicle. You had multiple lesions a month ago. Now most of them healed, only few remain. The antibiotics you took might have reduced the lesions.
Do not worry, as the lesions do not look like warts. And Herpes simplex is very uncommon at this site.
I would like to have results of investigations of HIV test and blood sugar.
You could consult a physician when you have the time, for a thorough systemic examination to rule out any systemic disease. Immunological status may be improved to prevent a relapse.
You may continue antibiotic course for few weeks under observation of dermatologist till complete cure.
Hygiene may be improved with bathing and cleansing with antiseptic solution. Have a healthy nutritious diet to improve overall health and immunity. Get good a good amount of sleep. Avoid stress and anxiety. Do daily exercise and yoga. All this might prevent the relapse of the disease.
I hope this much might help you managing the disease you have. Still any query, you are welcome.
Wishing you early recovery.
Thanks.

My only risk of STD was at a massage parlor in January 2014. January 15th to be precise. I did not have sex, just a massage but the girl was naked so the only risk was being exposed to skin on skin contact. This is why I asked about herpes or warts as I felt this is possible even without sex.
Eventhough I had minimal chance of STD through massage, because I had symptoms of spots, frequent urination and fever, blurry vision I tested for HIV, hepatitis, shyphillis, gnornorrea and chlamydia on 28th February and repeated on 3rd April, all were negative.
I have since read online that HIV can develop more than 12 weeks after exposure. My test was after approximately 10 / 11 weeks. Is this sufficient or should I be re-tested?
I have symptoms on and off since that one massage and never had any other risks. The antibiotics and creams do not seem to have worked and I still sometimes have to urinate often.
What do you advise as next steps? I am worried about persistent spots which also now are on my groin and arms/shoulder and also the need to urinate more often and high temperature with blurry vision. My quality of life is suffering and all from one seemingly riskless massage.
Just to clarify I have tested twice for all STD's apart from herpes and warts which there are no available tests. Also attended 2 GP's who have told me I have a bacterial or fungal infection and is 'nothing to worry about'. But I am still worried. I do not know if I have to explain anything to my girlfriend about this as I do not yet have any clear answers.
Thank you
Folliculitis is more likely
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back...
I can understand your concern for STD. But, I assure you that you are not likely to have HIV infection by just massage by a girl. So, your worry should be removed for the HIV.
The lesions I saw in photos do not simulate with warts or herpes. So, please have peace in mind thinking that the lesions are harmless and just healing lesions of folliculitis.
The spots might clear in few weeks. And the follicultis lesions may relapse. But have complete treatment under guidance of dermatologist. Please remove all wrong thoughts from your mind related to your skin problem.
I hope this would help you.
Wishing you healthy life.
Thanks.
