What Causes Spotting After Having Emergency Pill?

Question: Hi, my girlfriend and i were not being safe and i went inside her for a little bit. I didn't cum inside her. She took the morning after pill about 48hrs after we did it. She had some bleeding and now has a pinkish orangish discharge. What do you think is going on? She has had a dull pain around her right ovary and thinks it might be a cyst.

Above clinical features are due to withdrawal effect of the Morning After Pill. It is quite COMMON and NORMAL phenomena. It will stop automatically.

However, her next period may be delayed for 1-2 weeks from due date due to hormonal imbalance and mental stress. I suggest her to undergo one home pregnancy test if her period is delayed more than 1 week.

Take healthy nutritious diet, drink more water, avoid stress and maintain genital hygiene properly.
