Brief Answer:
threatened abortion

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM ,

In case of spotting during pregnancy it is termed as a threatened abortion. You should report to your physician for an urgent ultrasound to look for any subchorionic hemorrhage or placental separation and also to check for fetal viability.

Though it is early at 4 weeks and 5 days for a heart beat to ensue but a fetal pole should be confirmed to rule out any chemical pregnancy.
So report to your physician or ER sooner.

Also do not panic and rest is much needed. So sleep and rest as much as you can. Do not do heavy work or lift heavy weights.

Regards
