What Causes Spotting Post Ovarian Drilling?

Question: Hi,
After my ovarian drilling for pcos i am on my 2nd cycle this month. I started spotting yest and today have very light bleeding. When should i consider that my period has started normally and start clomid? Doc has advised clomid 100mg from day 2 to day 7 of periods. Since my bleeding is very light i am confused. My last cycle started on nov 15th and that was very light too. I had intermenstrual spotting throughout the month. Please advice, i am out of country and will be back on 21 and can visit doc or go for follicular scanning only from 22nd.

Thank you doc.... last cycle and this one my periods are very light. Is it side effect of clomid? This is my 5th cycle of clomid (2nd after ovarian drilling). If its thining my lining does tat make it more difficult to get pregnant? I am just worried because we are trying to concieve from last 7 months and how much i try avoiding taking mental stress i still get worried about this. Should i talk to my doc to change the meds? Since i also had intermenstrual spotting the whole of last month i am very worried about my hormonal imbalance and wondering if it can get pregnant at all!!!
Brief Answer:
Dont change medicines
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes.
This is side effect of clomid to have light periods.
Your doctor is giving you right medicines. No need to change them. Its a good medicine.
You can definitely get pregnant as you have good follicles and normal tubes.
There is no reason to panic. Take regular follicular growth scans and follow doctor's advice.
