What Causes Spotting?

default
Posted on Fri, 26 Sep 2014
Question: hi i last got my menstruation on 3rd Aug. till now there is no menstruation. On 29th evening i saw a thin line of blood while wiping. in between this period there was no bleeding. today only i saw a tiny drop of blood while wiping. I am trying to get pregnant. These random spottings of blood should mean that I can expect my periods anytime?? or i should take the home preg. test tomorrow morning?? or should I just wait and watch. there is no sign of morning sickness or fatigue.

Also, I attach here my menstrual period start dates since feb. Pls help to balance my period dates. There is a lot of variation.

Brief Answer:
Reduced flow

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) The spotting you have is your periods.

2) Sometimes it is possible to have reduced flow duration and quality.

3) If in doubt get serum beta hCG blood test done to rule out pregnancy if in doubt.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.
