What Causes Stabbing Pain In Penis During Erection?
Question: got stabbing pains in and on my penis. no visible sores or marks. there is a lump in the middle of the shaft that hurts when I get erect
Brief Answer:
It could be an old injury or Peyronies disease.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Do you remember getting hurt or injuring it in some way before the onset of these symptoms. The commonest cause would be an injury or a hematoma that has organized and causing lump and pain. Second possibility would be Peyronies disease but that is usually painless and usually presents with curved penis.
You should see a Urologist who can examine you and advice you accordingly.
Without examining it is very difficult to say what it could be.
I suggest you see the Urologist and then tell us what he thinks so we can advice you on the further course of action.
Take care and do let me know if there are any other queries.

the lump seems to be growing quite fast and now is about three lumps. had stabbing pains for two years prior to the lump appearing...hence all the tests....
Brief Answer:
Please do not delay the Urology consultation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If the lump is growing fast then it could be an ominous sign and you might require a Biopsy of the same.
Please do not delay the examination by the Urologist so that the necessary treatment can be started.
It is most likely growing from the Corpora cavernosa - the internal muscular tubes which are responsible for erection. But to exactly know, an FNAC or a Biopsy might be required as to what is growing inside.
