What Causes Stomach Gas After Having Calcium Supplements?
Question: I have been taking olmin a 20 tablet for past 2 years. I also have been taking endocal d tablet for calcium for the past 23 days.
for the past two days I have gas in the stomach.
is this due to endocal tablet ?
I cannot eat anything. I'm not feeling hungry too.

Yes, Calcium supplement can cause Constipation and Acidity problems. Initially I advise my patients who get this problem to take calcium suppl with food. After 15 days, start taking it 1 hour after dinner when you sleep.
In case Acidity persists, you can ask your doctor to prescribe Pantoprazole along with it. It will help you a lot.

doctor had given me endocal d since I was getting joint pains after work out. is this joint pain due to lack of calcium?
