Brief Answer: Other symptoms and awaited reports- stool & barium Detailed Answer: HI. Noted your Medical history of TIA and discs at lower cervical and lower lumbar region, diverticulitis and tinnitus. Also read the history provided by you. Just to recapitulate: 2 months history of pain, stool smelling musky or chemical, stomach is always sore and feels tight like organs are squashed in a slim person. Now the reports :: CT showing stenosed coeliac artery but not sitting into symptoms you have. MRI-Endoscopy and colonoscopy are normal. This is a good point to remember as this rules out many problems. I would request you to please elaborate about your symptoms further and write about any other associated symptoms like: Nausea, vomiting, bloating/ distension of abdomen, frequent stool, pain referred (radiation)to back or to the thighs and legs, The probable diagnoses I can think of are: Since you had a history of TIA and discs, it is possible that these symptoms may be related to some neurological problems. We do see many patients where the discs can cause such pains in abdomen. Another possibility is subacute intestinal infection, which did not show the symptoms of gastro-enteritis (pertaining to small intestines only as your both endoscopies are normal). You can get such symptoms. A course of an antibiotic like cefixime or Ofloxacin under the supervision of a Doctor can help you. ( if not given already). May be a change in diet , a keen observation which type of foods or/and beverages cause or increase your discomfort can help (stools smell musky or chemical) This is where the stool tests and the barium study may help to come to a conclusion. Hope it helps.
