Question: I have gas pains in stomach and intestinal area for several days after eating fried foods and feel like I can't release the gas. I move my bowels frequently which are soft but no diarrhea. Should I try Gas x?

Brief Answer:
can try gas x, add pepcid or prilosec or prevacid for added effect

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fried foods/spicy foods/acidic foods and foods that cause bloating are known causes of the symptoms that you described.
Bloating foods are broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, turnips, beans, carbonated drinks, prunes, brussel sprouts.

Reflux is also a very common cause of increased gas.

Gas x works by causing the air/gas in the intestines to combine into larger bubbles that may be eliminated easier so you can try this to see if it helps.
In addition , you should try medication such as pepcid, prilosec, prevacid (one of these) along with the gas x.
There is no interaction between these meds, they can be used safely together.

The prilosec, prevacid, pepcid do not work instantly so would have to be taken consistently for an effect to occur.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
