Brief Answer:
?? Suspecting GERD, can you relate ma'am?

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

i have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am suspecting your symptoms could be due to acid reflux, namely a condition called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I shall go ahead and list all the symptoms for your reference, but please note that not all the symptoms need to be present for a diagnosis:

+Dry cough
+Heart burn
+Sore throat
+Hoarseness of voice
+Regurgitation of food or liquid into the mouth
+Bitter taste in the mouth due to regurgitations
+Sensation of a lump at the back of the throat
+Chest pain
+Difficulty swallowing
+Nausea and rarely vomiting

Can you relate to the symptoms ma'am? Looking forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.

Best wishes.

Thank you for answering so quickly. Yes I can relate to a few of those, the lump at the back of the throat, nausea, and the heart burn specifically. My stomach starts hurting really bad and then I feel like I'm gonna throw up and then my mouth starts pouring salty liquid. I can open my mouth and it will literally just pour out of my mouth. This lasts for about 4 or 5 min then it will go away and my stomach will ease up. A friend told me that my stomach is basically full of acid from reflux and to try drinking milk or regular Coke. She said the coke eats up acid and it would make my stomach feel better except it might give me gas and she said milk helps with indigestion. What do you suggest I take or drink? I'm miserable. thank you

Hi ma'am.

No, please avoid the coke completely.

+Avoid coffee
+Avoid strenuous forms of exercise
+Avoid oily food
+Avoid stress

+Avoid fatty food
+Avoid long gaps between meals
+Avoid fried food
