What Causes Stomach Pain, Radiating Pain In The Back, Fever And Sore Throat?

Anyway, we have discussed my appendix story before and how I had a pain in rght side right where appendix is ever since I had the inflamation, right?
Now all of sudden, I have much same pain on LEFT side exactly same place as the right side.
What in the world does that mean?
I noticed this after two days ago when I stand up for log time with backpack on. I get pain in lower back while standing, and the pain goes also to the right side . almost to the groin, but a bit higher. Now Its the same on LEFT side after that day. Had it for two days. Also a bit tender across the belly under navel. Guessing this is not appendix then, but some form of muscular thing? It really doesnt feel like it, but....Also get the feeling of low grade fever when the pain comes, and its more sore/pain when stretch out or walking etc. Can muscles be the issue? Can they give a fever?
Any thoughts on that?
Its located almost from hip bone and towards groin.
Almost get a feeling of starting to get a fever, with a little sore throat when this happens too. Stomac feel almost a bit inflamed.
Last tests I did was CT scan and bloodworks. Not showing any ingflamation then. But I swear I feel like having a low fever.

Hello again!
I am sorry to hear that I have not answered to your last question, but in fact I have not received any question by you. Maybe a system error. You should send a message to healthcaremagic team next time if this problem occurs again.
Regarding your symptoms, I would explain that as your CT scan and blood work have resulted normal , an infection or inflammation have been excluded.
This means that you have no appendix inflammation and that is great.
Besides, as your blood work has resulted normal, it means that there is no focal infection or inflammation anywhere else in your body. So the fever you feel may be just a sensation in a sensitive person. And that is quite common in sensitive persons.
As your thermometer does not show temperature and your blood work is normal, there is nothing to worry about!
Regarding the pain in this region, I think that it may be related to a musculo-skeletal issue (stretching, distention) or irritable bowel syndrome.
These two disorders are quite benign and can occur in every normal individual.
Coming to this point, I would advise some tips to help relieve this pain:
- perform a lot of physical activity (yoga, aerobics, walking)
- try to lose some pounds if you are overweight
- make some modifications to your diet (avoid spicy food, avoid fast food or fried food, take plenty of fiber which are contained in fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals, etc.).
- try to correct your posture and avoid prolonged standing up or sitting position.
I would also recommend performing a lumbar spine X ray study to exclude possible bulging disc in this region that may also lead to radiated radicular pain in this region.
Regarding your stomach pain (the inflammation that you feel) the above mentioned diet modifications, coupled with eating more frequently in small portions and avoiding large meals will help. An antiacid or raniditine or omeprazole may also be helpful if you have heartburn.
Hope to have been helpful!
I remain at your disposal for any other question whenever you need!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri

Funny you should mention acid. Because I have trouble breathing. And weird feeling in vocalchords like they are swollen, and I make wheezing noice when breathing sometimes (often). BUT its harder to breath IN than OUT. So I am thinkng my doctor might have a point when he say it can be silent reflux that makes me heavy breathing and the change in my voice as well. I dont have too much heartburn though.
Ah. Is there any place where can replace my body for a new one? :)
I would recommend as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Unfortunately we can not change or replace our bodies. But we can correct some troubles, so we can feel better.
It is important to learn and tolerate your troubles, so you can live with them and accept your body with its best and worst sides.
Now, considering your breathing troubles, I would recommend performing a chest X ray study and respiratory function tests to exclude a possible lung disorder.
Do you smoke? Do you have close smoking contacts (family, friends)? This could influence in your troubles with breathing.
Some allergy tests may be also needed, especially if breathing problems are seasonal (which means that they are triggered during spring or autumn, etc.).
Regarding the acid reflux, as I mentioned before, if taking an antiacid relieves your symptoms, this would be an argument in favor of this possible disorder.
Hope to have been helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri

Yes I have done a chest CT scan, which was fine. Also tested a spirometry? I blow into some stuff and tey measure. But I was not having difficulties then, so the test was good. Ths is very much periodically. Of course you know me, I think of heart decease, but I think maybe this are asthma symptoms maybe caused by this silent reflux.
Yes smoke....
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Thank you for the additional information.
As a cardiologist, I would exclude any possible cardiac disorders related to this symptomatology.
So, relax and do not worry about it any more!
I would strongly recommend quit smoking (it can kill you gradually). Of course, as your spirometry has resulted normal, you do not have COPD (which is one of the main complications of smoking).
Regarding reflux : yes it may influence in your symptoms. An antiacid would help relieve those symptoms.
But considering the periodic feature of these troubles, I would recommend also performing some allergy tests to exclude possible allergy related to your symptoms.
Anyway, both reflux and allergy are quite benign and treatable causes. So, basically there is nothing to be concerned about!
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
If you have any other uncertainties, please do not hesitate to ask me!
Best wishes,

Pantoprazol my doc has given me. Are there any downsides to take that?
Dont want to get heart relatert stuff because of meds. Like ectopic irregular beating or bloodpressure drop.
I guess i just have to try the meds. Of not i will never get better
Pantoprazole is safe for the heart.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Regarding pantoprazole, I would explain that it is usually well tolerated and does not cause irregular heart beats as adverse effects.
So, I would recommend starting taking it. You shouldn't be afraid of its adverse effects, as they are really a few.
If your symptoms are relieved by pantoprazole, it would indicate possible gastro-esophageal reflux underlying your symptoms.
I would also recommend quit smoking as it can trigger reflux too besides causing lung problems and progressive changes in your vessels leading to atherosclerosis.
A healthy lifestyle (Mediterranean diet, a lot of physical activity ) would also be helpful!
Let me know about everything!
If you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer to all of them!
Wishing all the best,
Dr. Iliri

Yeah i will stop smoking, but its hard.
I want to do a lot of physical actvity, but ... I try and i get bloodpressuredrop and dizzyness. I have been trying to find out whats wrong for years and years. Worst is that my daughter have also these problems when physical active :(
Maybe I should just send the entire symptomlist to you. You already doing a better job than my doctors over 15 years... :)
Tomorrow I shall try the medicin.
I also add that I can be just as heavy breathing in the morning without smoking .
I will keep u posted, sir.
My opinion as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hi again!
You should try stop smoking.
The heavy breathing in the morning is related to smoking too, even though you do not believe that. It is caused by the chronic changes to your lung and airways cells from smoke toxins.
So, I believe that you will feel better after stopping smoking.
Regarding physical activity, I would recommend avoiding straining physical activity and trying to be more active with light sports (walking, aerobics, recreational sports).
Feel free to discuss with me whenever you need about any other uncertainties!
Wishing good health,
Dr. Iliri
