Brief Answer:
Ultrasound of abdomen should be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM

She need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Her symptoms may be due to many reasons like infection, acidity etc.
First of all ultrasound of abdomen should be done.It will screen out many conditions.

Routine heomgram,Random blood sugar,Liver function test, kidney function test, urine RE/ME,stool(routine and microscopic examination)should also be done.

Your doctor is right, intestinal worms can cause similar symptoms. With these symptoms,i suggest my patients to take single tablet albendazole 400 mg at night.
Broad spectrum antibiotics should also be prescribed empirically.I also suggest to take tablet ondensetron 4 mg twice daily for four-five days.It will control vomiting.

Electrolyte imbalance is due to long standing vomiting. It will correct after rehydration therapy.Don't worry about this.
She can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg SOS for headache.

Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Get well soon.
Hope i have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

Take Care
