What Causes Stomachache On Pressure While Treating Lower Back Injury Muscle Strain?
Question: Hello I have had a lower back injury muscle strain to my spinal erectors, and side strain around to my lower abdominals... I have been feeling better after dealing with for over a month. My question is what could cause me to have pain only while pressing firmly on the upper right part of my belly button and slightly over that side. When I do this it makes me kind of feel like I have been hit in the groin, in the groin area.
Brief Answer:
Organic issues to rule out through abdominal echo&
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
The pain you are feeling when pressing firmly on the upper right part of your belly button is due to lower back injury muscle strain that is also affecting the abdominal muscles.
If I was your caring doctor, would rule out other organic problems first through:
- abdominal ultrasound
- upper endoscopy.
For the moment, I advise to take oral pain killers and apply local analgesic to the affected area.
All the best!

Is it normal for a back injury to get better after a chiropractic adjustment and muscle relaxants then get aggravated by stress and sitting in a very uncomfortable chair for a week with limited back support?
Brief Answer:
Yes,it is possible...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Yes, it is normal to get better after a chiropractic adjustment. Positional changes, especially when sitting in a very uncomfortable chair for a week with limited back support will precipitate the pain although it has been already ameliorated.
I usually advise my patients with the same problems as you to be careful when sitting or staying in standing position to avoid relapse of previous painful situations.
All the best!
