Question: I can see my son's pulse beating very strongly in his neck. He is almost 3. I have not noticed it before.

What you have observed is known as jugular venous pulse. It is normal. However, if apprehensive, you can get an echocardiogram done in order to rule out any problems with functioning of the heart.
