Hello -
So from what you wrote, you were not able to have a bowel movement but feel gassy or crampy like you need to have a bowel movement?
You will likely feel better after you are able to move your bowels. You can consider a stimulant laxative or stool softener, and that might help you to have a BM and resolve this situation.
If you do have a BM, but continue to have a lot of gas, consider taking simethicone (a brand name in the US is GasX) which helps break up the gas.
Once this resolves, eat a healthy balanced diet with plenty of vegetables and fruit.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.

Hi actually I did have bowel movement after few hours later after I had breakfast. Don't know is it cause of my gastritis acting up
Brief Answer:
Information
Detailed Answer:
Gastritis usually doesn't make a person feel like they need to have a BM. It is more of a gnawing pain in the upper abdomen, in the middle or to the left side.
Were you diagnosed by a doctor who examined you and told you you have gastritis? And are you taking any medications for it, such as H2 blockers like ranitidine (Zantac)?

Green stool is usually not concerning. It can be due to eating green leafy vegetables, or green food coloring. In situations of diarrhea, the green color can be from bile pigments that haven't had time to get fully broken down, because the intestinal contents are moving through too quickly.
Black, tarry stool, on the other hand, can be a sign of bleeding from the stomach or upper digestive tract.
Your digestive tract upset right now could be from a number of things including a passing virus, food that was contaminated or didn't agree with you, and sometimes from medications.
