Sometimes I almost feel normal, then suddenly eyes get small like slits and become sensitive to light. Mild headache in forehead. I can think, and am aware of what's going on around me but I have a hard time pronouncing my words. Words come out very slow almost slurred. Ears become sensitive to sound and I feel exhausted, when symptoms come on. They come and go a couple of times a day. I was hit in the back of my head and neck area with 6foot ladder. Scheduled for endoscopy tomorrow, and concerned about anesthesia. Accident happened Friday afternoon. I feel good right now but I felt terrible just a little while ago. Like I said it comes and goes.
Brief Answer:
Physical examination and anesthesiologist's opinion.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Chuck,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
CT scan of brain is normal, thus ruling out intracranial damage. The present symptoms are transient and in absence of structural brain damage should not be the cause of concern.
However, please get yourself examined by a physician and seek an anesthesiologist's opinion before undergoing the procedure.
