What Causes Sudden Confusion Along With Mild Headaches?
Question: I have had surgery for hydrocephalus several years ago. Recently I have been experiencing "foggy headedness", confusion, and mild headaches. Any idea what the problem may be?
Brief Answer:
Could be due to multiple reasons.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
A blockage of the shunt could lead to an increase in the pressure inside the brain and that could be the cause of your complaints. An electrolyte imbalance or cerebrovascular accidents are other probabilities to consider. I would insist you to visit a doctor for the same. He would be able to evaluate you and to arrange for appropriate interventions.
Hope I have answered your query.
