What Causes Sudden Dizziness?

Question: I was sitting down teaching a guitar lesson, and a sudden dizziness hit me and was disoriented for about 1 minute....it was pretty scary as it came out of nowhere. I drank some water, and felt better and was able continue the lesson. That was about 3 hours ago and I've had no further symptoms. It has been very humid today as well.

It could be due to so many causes. Common ones are--
First of all it could be due to indigestion and acidity.
Secondly due to 'vertigo' --middle ear involvement.
Thirdly cervical spondylosis due to bending neck and playing guitar.
Fourthly --are you a Diabetic, or hypertensive?
Hopefully it was only the heat.
Continue to drink a lot of fluids, water and take something like Omeprazole. If the attack repeats, do see a doctor to rule out causes listed above.
