What Causes Sudden Drop Of Blood Pressure Along With Fatigue?
Question: My blood pressure is shifting from the highest of 166 to the lowest of 118 today. I get easily fatigued walking. Should I start taking any medication?
Brief Answer:
Depends on how long high blood pressure lasts
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If it is only today and the high blood pressure doesn't last long, then there is no need to take a medication. But if high blood pressure lasts for hours you will need to take a medication. For the second case write me if you have any blood pressure medication at home and I'll try to help with the dosage.
Take care

It has been high between 138 to 166 since Oct 21. I got 138 over 82 this morning. I do not like taking drugs if unnecessary. Can you suggest home remedies to lower my blood pressure. Do I have hypertension?
Brief Answer:
Welcome back and sorry for late response
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Keep monitoring your blood pressure. Restrict the amount of salt intake, try to lose weight if you are overweight, eat healthy, exercise much. Such lifestyle helps to lower blood pressure.
If you continue to have increased blood pressure in a month, then we can think about diagnosis of arterial hypertension.
Meanwhile, you can talk to your doctor and ask to prescribe some medication to keep at home to take in case you have high blood pressure episode.
Wishing you a good health
