What Causes Sudden Itching, Watering, Pain And Light Sensitivity In Eyes?
Question: yesterday i was working on my laptop, suddenly i felt itchy in my eyes, but i ignored after some time its started hurting and the eyes got complete left.
after that i slept for some time but it didn't help. now when i go into light my eyes hurt badly or when i open my eyes tear drop continuously.
so please help me.

It is computer vision syndrome.other wise dry eye. Due to excessive use of computer, problem with eye developed is computer vision syndrome. It is due corneal vision syndrome due to constant staring, blinking is decreased. Blinking spreads the tear film all over . Due to this dry eye is developed. It is further developed to corneal erosion and effect vision further.
It can be prevented by decreasing hour of exposure to computer. Secondly using anti glare screen in between and taking a break and going near window and looking outside. If anti glare screen is not available then have anti-glare specs. Further apply artificial tear drop like Refresh tear drop before using computer and apply in between.
Blink eye several time. It will facilitate spread of tear film.
At bed time Neosporine eye ointment can be applied. So using anti glare specs, applying artificial tear drop and decreasing hour of exposure to computer will solve the problem.
Cornea can be examined by slit lamp to observe for eroison. With this medication and precaution it twill stop and regress. Epiphora is due to corneal erosion. It is a hazard for excessive use of computer.
