What Causes Sudden Onset Of Itchy Small Bumps On Skin?
kindly give following details
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your query. I understand your concern.
As per details, I would think of skin condition called Urticaria as the close possibility. Urticaria can be acute, chronic and acute on chronic. When duration of the disease is more than 6 weeks, it is known as Chronic Urticaria.
Clinically urticaria presents with red colored itchy transient eruptions over body. It closely matches your description. It can be caused by allergy to recent infection, any food, seasonal change, drugs, pollen grains etc. Sometimes systemic causes like anaemia, thyroid disorder, Diabetes Mellitus are implicated in causation of generalized itch over body. Seasonal variation seems the cause in your case. However I will advise you to get your blood sugar levels, thyroid profile, Hemogram, Absolute Eosinophil count, IgE levels done to look for other possibilities.
In the meanwhile I would prefer to advise combination of levocetrizine and montelukast. This is the usual treatment in my patients were no specific cause is found.
Easy bruising may or may not be related. We need to check for platelet deficiency or platelet dysfunction. Therefore along with the aforementioned tests, I will also advise you to get your Bleeding time and Clotting time done.
If possible, kindly get back to me with attached reports so that I can guide you to my best.
Stay healthy.
PS: The test are usually ordered by a dermatologist. If you are unable to meet one soon, you can check with your local physician.
