What Causes Sudden Onset Of Pain In The Left Breast?

Question: I have a sudden pain in the outside of my left breast, under the armpit, that is constant but hurts more when I breath. Pulled muscle? or should I be concerned? I have diabetes and have been trying to get it under control with diet - so am eating an 800 calorie a day diet for the last 5 days. I also have ITP and cannot take Asprin. Thanks

By your history and description, possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
Please let me know if you are having cough, expectoration and fever. Because if these symptoms are present then we should rule out pulmonary causes also.
If you are not having these symptoms and having only pain, then possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
So apply warm water pad on affected areas. Avoid sudden movements using that part.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
