What Causes Sudden Pain In The Upper Arms, Shoulder Blades And Neck?
Cervical spondylosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query
It's possible that you may be experiencing symptoms of pinched nerve in the neck possibly due to degenerative changes in the cervical spine as in the case of Cervical spondylosis.
Also in cases of severe Vitamin D deficiency the symptoms are common.
I would advise you to avoid using thick pillow under your head while sleeping. Either go for a think pillow or don't use any at all.
Avoid bending neck forward or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the affected region. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days. Perform physiotherapy for neck extension and shoulder strengthening exercises. Do get an Xray of the cervical spine as well and upload it for my reference.
Get a Serum Vitamin D3 analysis to find out if you have Vitamin deficiency.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
