What Causes Sudden Pounding In My Ear Since Morning That Changes To Sudden Throbbing When I Move My Head, Talk Or Hear Something Loud?
Question: Beginning this morning, I’ve experienced a pounding in my ear. It’s not constant and doesn’t really hurt but it’s very uncomfortable. When I sit perfectly still, it seems ok but when I move my head, talk, or hear loud sounds, there a sudden throbbing.

As per your symptoms you possibly seem to have tinnitus. This could suggest an inner ear disease. In most cases, it could be due to a benign cause.
Most commonly it's important to screen yourself for wax in the external ear, iron deficiency anemia.
I generally prescribe a short course of oral medications like Betahistine, dewax ear drops and Iron syrup to my patients with such symptoms.
Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to improve your symptoms.
In case if symptoms don't improve in 72 hours of initiating betahistine it's advisable to get an ear examination through otoscope. Consultation with a Otolaryngologist is important.
