What Causes Sudden Sensitivity To Light, Neck Stiffness And Throbbing Headaches?

Possibly migraine headache
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
The throbbing headache, lightsensitivity and neck stiffness is likely due to a migraine headache. Migraines usually begin in teen years, however in some people the first episode can be delayed into early adulthood. You can take Advil 600 mg up to 4 times a day to relieve the pain. Get adequate sleep. Avoid caffeine, chocolate and exposure to bright light.
If the pain worsens, or you develop vomiting, fever, rash in the body, please be advised to follow up with urgent care, as possibility of meningitis needs to be ruled out then.
If you experience recurrent migraine attacks, follow up with a neurologist. Long term therapy with beta blockers or anti seizure medications can help prevent recurrent attacks.

I also notice pain in my pelvic region too when I pee along with a burning sensation. I also started taking this supplement recently called Intestamine for my stomach as shown in this link;
https://www.ausXXXX.com/product/XXXX-XXXX
My question is with the ingrients in there which are
Glutamine 1.5g
Aloe vera extract (equiv. Aloe vera inner leaf juice ) 500mg
Slippery elm bark powder 500mg
N-acetyl-d-glucosamine (from sea crustaceans) 500mg
Quercetin 200mg
Apple Pectin 100mg
Is it safe to consume would their be any side effects or damage to liver/kidneys? I was only going to take it short term for a couple of weeks would it be safe to do so? My doctor recommend it to me to try short term but I’m not really sure what those ingrients are but I have a lot of stomach pain and nausea.

Hello again,
I have gone through your question and seen the attached picture. The lower abdominal pain and white flakes in urine raise the concern for possible urinary tract infection. If you tested before with home testing kit, there is a possibility of false negative results. So please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider to undergo urine analysis and culture.
Regarding the supplement you are taking, the quercetin present, if taken in high dose for long-term, can cause kidney damage. However 500 mg quercetin is low dose. There is nothing to be worried about. All other ingredients do not cause much problems.
Regarding confirmation of meningitis -The test required is Cerebrospinal fluid analysis and culture. Cerebrospinal fluid will be collected through a small procedure called spinal tap, where a needle is inserted between vertebrae into the spinal canal to collect the fluid.

Another thing as well about 4 years ago now I had this ear infection where I had to go on antibiotics about 3 or 4 of them and none of them really cleared it up for good and I feel as if it's done some permanent damage to my left ear. I always seem to have tinnitus in my left ear and the infection seems to come back every year and whenever I get a cold they block really easy. I went to a music event last night and I forgot to bring my earplugs since I have custom ones and now I have even worse ringing in my ear along with a feeling of fullness in the left ear do you think the music would of done even more damage not being protected, what can I actually do to get them tested to see if there is damage?
I meant to say my right ear not my left and I can't tell if it is damage or ear wax since I also seem to get an ear wax buildup in that ear and not the other also

Hello XXXXXXX

If the urine culture and ultrasound showed normal results, then there is nothing to be worried about. The white flakes are possibly sloughed off old epithelial cells.
Could you please share the active ingredients in 'Instamine'. I couldn't find the details online.
Regarding Quercetin- The maximum safest dose is 1000mg per day.
Exposure to music at a concert is unlikely to cause ear damage. The only way to confirm whether you have an ear infection or ear wax, is by undergoing an ear examination. If you are worried about hearing/ear damage I recommend to get an audiometry done.
I have also reviewed the ingredients in nutrition care gut relief. All the ingredients are safe and generally well tolerated. Please note that this supplement also contain Quercetin. So if you are planning on taking this, avoid other supplements with quercetin.

Very similar to the gut relief but with Quercetin can you consume that from natural foods also and could that possibly cause overdose of it? What exactly are the benefits of that ingredient also?
And in terms of the whole acne flareup would it be worth trialling just one dose a day instead of my initial two doses?

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
The ingredients in intestamine does not usually cause acne. However, since you experienced acne flare up, you can try taking intestamine once daily. If you notice acne or skin irritation, please discontinue intestamine.
Quercetin works by acting as anti oxidant and anti inflammatory. It also boost your immune system. Quercetin is found naturally in bright colored fruits and vegetables. However, the dose of quercetin from natural sources is very low (less than 30 mg), so it usually does not cause any problems even if you are taking supplements containing quercetin.
