What Causes Sudden Sharp Burning Pain And Swelling In Middle Finger?
Suggestive of injury/inflammation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of injury/inflammation at the site of swelling. This is also causing compression at the nerve there, leading to numbness.
At this stage, you can start analgesic/anti-inflammatory round the clock, such as naproxen or diclofenac tablets.
If it does not subside, you should see a doctor and get an ultrasound scan of the affected area done to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
