What Causes Sudden Urges To Urinate?
Question: Wife has sudden urge to urinate. Pressure, what to do ? Just started this AM.

Hello,
The urge to pass urine suddenly is mostly due to UTI
Get her urine test and urine culture done to find out organisms causing this infection and their antibiotics sensitivity pattern.
In the meantime start taking antibiotics like Cefixime and Nitrofurantoin twice daily along with urine alkalizer Citralka thrice daily Later on switch on to appreciate antibiotics as per culture report.
Taking anti-cholenergic drug like Darifenacin once daily will help to control urgency .
Ensure she drinks more water to keep her urine dilute.
