Posted on Fri, 22 Jan 2016
Question: I have lost Appetite since last 3-4 months and have lost around 6-7 Kg. I have done tests like full abdomen ultrasound, LFT, TFT, Lipid Profile, Thyroid, Blood sugar and hemoglobin and they are normal. Even after passing motions there is very little or no appetite.

Brief Answer:
Weight lost should be evaluated..

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows :
1.You are reporting to have TSH level 5.2 and it is slightly elevated. It shows that you have mild underactive thyroid function that for the moment is well compensated.
2. You are reporting to have lost weight 6-7 kg and this sing needs to be evaluated. You have low apetite even after pasing motions.
This is why at this situation I would suggest doing further exams like:
- upper endoscopy
- abdominal Ct scan
3. Meantime I suggest to :
- use vit C 1000mg per day
- use fresh fruits
- avoid suggar foods
- increase physical activity
- avoid unnecessary stress

Hope it was helpfull to you!
