Brief Answer:
Dose adjustment is probably required

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

If sugar is passing in urine, it means that your blood glucose is perhaps inadequately controlled. It could also indicate that the diabetes has already affected your kidneys and is affecting the filtering capacity. In such a case you need:
* Measurement of your blood HbA1c level
* Measurement of blood pressure
* Renal function test including blood creatinine level
* Measurement of blood glucose levels 15-30 mins before breakfast lunch and dinner for three consecutive days and readjustment of the dose of antidiabetic agent accordingly.
* Consider insulin as the choice. For this you need to be under the followup of your diabetologist.

Be sure to visit your doctor. I would not recommend self medication in this regard.
