What Causes Sweating, Weakness And Low BP During Pregnancy?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Hello Doctor, I entered 9th month of pregnancy 3 days back. Today noon there was sweating for me all of a sudden. I felt weak. I had only little amount of breakfast and milk in the morning . Then immediatley i had taken food and slept. I thought that my BP could be down and went for BP checkup. Its 100/60 in the evening. So is it ok ? How to control this so that BP will be normal... What type of fluids or food do i need to take.? Do i have low BP according to this. Please suggest .. One more query : I heard of painless normal delivery. How safe is it ? Does it mean giving an injection to backbone to have painless? do it has any side effects ? Is it preferable to go for painless normal delivery ?
Brief Answer:
It is feasible in prescreened patients
Detailed Answer:
HiXXXX,
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
Your BP is a bit lower side.
It should be compared to earlier readings. Some people hahe BP in that range.
If earlier BP was better then ensure enough water and electrolyte intake like salted lemon water twice daily, juices, milk curds and salads etc. That will improve hydration and will improve BP.
Painless delivery can be achieved by epidural analgesia once your gynecologist has made your clinical and ultrasound examination and if you have satisfactory parameters then painless labour is feasible and is safe in evaluated patients.
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
Take Care!
