
What Causes Swelling Above Clavicle Bone?

Question: I have swelling above my clavicle bone the size of a plum on both sides. I have night sweats where I wake up drenched in sweat. I am 48 have RA and take arava. Could it be serious? I am really tired too

No weight loss. Just really tired. Dark circles under eyes. Night sweats. Swelling bigger on right then left side. Face puffy.

Well having a look at the pic that you have sent it doesnt look like inflammatory swelling to me related to arthritis as there is no redness visible . It looks like a swollen lymph node to me . I would advise you to see a doctor immediately for the same as it would require an FNAC of the lymph node to see whats going on . It can be due to a number of conditions even lymphomas or malignancy so needs urgent evaluation.
