What Causes Swelling And Bumps On The Ears?
It's due to Staph Aureus infection
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX!
I have gone through the pictures and your question in detail, and I can understand your concerns and want to assure you that it will go away soon once you act according to my advice.
Most important: -
Get that pus checked in the pathology laboratory to culture the organism and tell us what is the causative agent; and take that report to me or your physician to get super matching antibiotic to kill the bacteria. As you already have tried medicines so we need to know is it MRSA class of bacteria.
If you are having any ear piercing, stop using any ornaments/jewelery in the affected ear. Make your outer ear clean with pyodine twice daily. Don't use any ear swabs, ear plugs or any foreign body.
Regards!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back. Dear, I am happy to help. Your Primary Care physician can give you a prescription and will guide you about the local Lab in your area. I assume you are in new york and you know very well that here in USA you cant get tested in Labs without a Script from a doctor.
Please get a script and go to the lab (as guided by the front desk of the Physician). And for cost of the test, contact again the front desk of PCP or call directly to the Lab.
Pyodine is antiseptic solution in liquid form. You may get it Over the counter from Walmart/Target/Rite Aid/CVS pharmacies. An alternate is Rubbing Alcohol in liquid form.
Hope it helps. Feel free to contact me anytime for any queries. I will wait for helping you.
Regards!
