What Causes Swelling And Pain Radiating Between Palm And Forearm?

Question: I had TFCC surgery on my right wrist in October 2014. Know, I'm having pain and swelling from the palm of my hand down not quite to the mid for-arm. I've iced it down and wear an elastic sleeve to help with the swelling. It feels worse than an old nagging toothache. I just completed two visit with the OT, but it was already hurting before then. Any suggestions or ideas?

For TFCC injury, physiotherapy like tens and matrix therapy may help you.
You may need to take 8 to 10 settings of therapy.
If not relieved then local steroid injection shot may help you.
If required arthroscopic TFCC repair can be done when these management does not respond.
Till time continue using supporting brace.

I've called my doctors office and they have moved my appointment up to XXXXXXX 27th. I've had multiple orthopedic related surgeries, but haven't had anything that hurts like this. I can't hold or grip anything in my hand at all. I'm just wondering if this my be some type of nerve damage?
Brief Answer:
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.
