What Causes Swelling In Cheeks And Salivary Glands?
Bacterial infection of salivary gland duct opening, medication
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the swelling in the cheek is concerned, it can be because of the inflamed salivary gland duct opening secondary to bacterial infection or any stone in the ducts.
I will recommend you consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. I feel you may need antibiotics like amoxicillin (if you are not allergic) if there are features of infection. Until then do saline gargling. These are the diagnosis and treatment plan based on the description of your problem by you. If you can upload the images of the swelling I can provide better diagnosis and treatment plan.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back.
Take care
