Brief Answer:
Keep the leg elevated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The swelling in the leg and foot after an injury can be due to soft tissue injury or collection of fluid in the area due to standing for prolonged hours. You need to take rest and keep the leg elevated on two pillows while resting.
Avoid standing for more than 2 hours continuously. Take a break and let it heal first. The swelling will subside with these simple measures.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
