Answered by Dr. Shailja Puri (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
No, swelling may be due to lymph node or salivary gland

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
I have seen images.
The swelling in front of ear is not related to any other symptoms that you have mentioned.
This kind of swelling occurs in cases of enlargement of salivary gland or lymph node enlargement.

The site of swelling corresponds to site of salivary gland called parotid gland.
And salivary gland swelling can be due to infection, inflammation or neoplasm.
This is also the site of lymph nodes thus lymph nodes enlargement can also be the cause.

I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider or an ENT doctor for clinical assessment and a simple office procedure called aspiration cytology.

In this investigation, cells are aspirated from the swelling using a needle; cells are spread on glass slide and stained with appropriate stains.
This investigation will determine the cause of swelling.
Depending on the type of lesion, appropriate treatment will be planned. Once you done with it, let me know about the reports

Lymph node enlargement also occurs due to infection and inflammation and it subsides as the infection is controlled.
Thus, consult your doctor for further management.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Swelling on both sides of face does not indicate HIV infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Your fear is irrational.
The swellings infront of ears on both sides does not indicate HIV.
However, you need to consult your primary healthcare provider to know the cause of bilateral swellings and for clinical examination.

Brief Answer:
Red throat suggests sore throat

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

I have gone through the image.

Thats good that there is no swelling detected in front of the ears.
A slight bulge is visible in image however, exact swelling can be detected only after clinical examination and palpation.
Red throat suggests sore throat.
In case there is pain in the throat, you can take saline gargles and analgesics if required.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Do not panic, you are perfectly all right

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

The bulge could have been swelling due to salivary gland enlargement or lymph node enlargement, however, clinical assessment has ruled out the possibility of either of these lesions.

Thus, do not worry about the bulge. Yes, I have gone through all the images you have attached as explained in my previous reply.

Thanks and take care
